Gaia Porto Hostel

The various trips to the most diverse continents combined with the enormous passion for different cultures, were responsible for the emergence of the idea of ​​bringing the Hostel concept to this side of Rio, to Vila Nova de Gaia. “The best view of Porto!”

Thanks to a completely familiar concept, where the motto is “Your home, away from home”, we are currently in full consolidation, after just 2 years, in the accommodation market in the cities of Gaia and Porto. Considered, by guests who pass through here, as one of the best hostels in the country, we are at the top of the ratings on all booking and review sites worldwide (e.g. Booking.com; Tripadvisor.com).

Hostel Gaia Porto is the only Hostel in the city of Vila Nova de Gaia, located in the heart of the historic center, surrounded by the most renowned Port Wine companies and just 800 meters from the Douro River. The accommodation offer is varied, from double rooms, suites to dorms, where sharing is the watchword. Breakfast is included in all rates. Among the various activities we offer, we highlight free visits with wine tasting included in the Port wine cellars, guided tours of the two cities, bicycle rental, themed dinners, where our gastronomy is placed at the mercy of those who visit us, and order massage and relaxation service.

Due to its location, on top of a hill, Hostel Gaia Porto, through its panoramic garden, with views of the City of Porto and the Douro River, constitutes an excellent alternative for small romantic dinners, business dinners or simply for a coffee in the late afternoon.

The current objectives include the creation of new activities, which our guests can enjoy, with the primary objective of extending their stay at the Hostel and in the City.
