SIM Conference remains at Alfândega for the next three years

Conference that quest to connect entrepreneurs and investors, takes place in Porto in may 2025.

For the next three years, the city of the SIM Conference will once again be Porto. The next edition is scheduled for the 8th and 9th of May and aims, once again, to be focused on entrepreneurship, bringing startups closer to investors.

After hosting this year the first edition of the Startups & Investment Matching Conference (SIM Conference), which brought together more than two thousand participants, 100 speakers, 150 investors, 400 startups, in more than 70 sessions, the city of Porto will host the editions of 2025, 2026 and 2027 of this event, within the scope of the partnership between Startup Portugal and Porto City Council.

Vivienne Ming, a neuroscientist specializing in the use of AI systems to prevent diabetes or in platforms for adopting orphan refugees, is one of the names already confirmed for the entrepreneurship event.  Another name is Ezequiel Abramzon, senior executive at The Walt Disney Company for twenty years, now a consultant for companies and startups at LALO, which he founded in 2020.

Also present will be Daniela Seixas, doctor who founded Tonic App (a Portuguese platform that aggregates medical resources and raised a round of around 11 million euros in March); Max Pog, conference and podcast host, entrepreneur and founder of Venture Studio Family; Diogo Mónica, founder of the unicorn Anchorage Digital; André Campos, transformation officer at Sogrape; and also Xavier Jameson, co-founder of Musiversal.
