Opening of the Productive Innovation competition – Other Territories

Applications are open for productive investment projects in innovative activities within the scope of Portugal 2030, aimed at SMEs, from the NUTS II regions of the Continent (North, Center, Lisbon, Alentejo and Algarve), outside the low-density territories defined by CIC Portugal 2020 .

The SICE – Productive Innovation – Other Territories competition will allow companies to carry out operations such as creating a new establishment or increasing the capacity of an existing one, diversifying production or changing the overall production process, always taking into account goods and tradable and internationalizable services with high added value and level of national incorporation.

Actions covered by this notice:

The creation of a new establishment;

Increasing the capacity of an existing establishment;

The diversification of an establishment’s production to products not previously produced in the establishment;

A fundamental change to the overall production process of an existing establishment.

In the case of operations located in the NUTS III Alto Alentejo and Beiras and Serra da Estrela sub-regions, this maximum limit is 50% for medium-sized companies and 60% for micro and small companies.

Application period

The application period began on April 30th, with analysis and decision being made according to the following phases:

– Phase 1: 09/16/2024 (7 pm)

– Phase 2: 12/30/2024 (7 pm)
